Yantra series
Yantras are sacred archetypes—visual portals to the transcendent. They serve as bridges between the visible and the invisible, inviting a deep connection to the Source from which all life flows. In this series of mixed media constructions, I explore the potential of form, emptiness, and layering to manifest these multidimensional energies.
These works began as flat silhouettes—shadows drawn on paper—until they began to “awaken,” pressing for liberation into space. What emerged are richly textured, multidimensional compositions: living geometries that resonate with presence, mystery, and the potential to heal. Each piece functions like an altarpiece—imbued with intention and designed to shift perception, open awareness, and expand consciousness.
Rooted in a broad spiritual lineage, this series draws inspiration from Hindu yantras, Buddhist mandalas, and Native American sand paintings, as well as indigenous cosmologies and the esoteric traditions of Western art—from the Mystery Schools of antiquity through the spiritual abstraction of Mannerism to Mondrian.
Whether consciously engaged or passively encountered, these pieces offer a transmission—subtle yet potent—inviting the viewer into deeper alignment with the sacred.
